This is a pivotal leadership role reporting to the General Counsel, will be responsible for building and scaling a best-in-class risk function that aligns with firm's strategic growth and operational resilience.
As the Head of Risk, you will be the architect of our risk posture, designing frameworks, leading assessments, and embedding a culture of risk awareness across the organization. You'll partner with senior leaders and business units to proactively identify, prioritize, and mitigate risks across operational, technological, strategic, and regulatory domains.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain a robust risk framework, including KRIs, oversight committees, and reporting protocols.
• Lead efforts to identify and mitigate risks related to infrastructure, cybersecurity, business continuity, and advisor/client attrition.
• Advise executive leadership board on key risk exposures and mitigation strategies.
• Oversee third-party insurance programs and collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing risk team.
• Foster a risk-aware culture and work cross-functionally with senior executives to embed risk into strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
• 12+ years of experience in risk management within financial services, preferably wealth management.
• Proven success in designing and scaling enterprise risk programs.
• Expertise in operational and technological risk; internal audit or IT controls experience is helpful
• Understands the regulatory framework and expectations of an RIA and is able to foster a strong risk culture across the organization
• Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills, including board-level presentation capabilities.
• Commercial mindset with a bias for action and high accountability.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
